1. Who We Are

This website (the "Site") presents KINUJO hair styling products for customers in the Philippines and is operated by Rinoa (@kinujo_cebu), an authorized retailer of KINUJO products in the Philippines (the "Company", "we", "us"). We hold official rights to sell KINUJO products in the Philippine market, and every unit we supply is genuine KINUJO merchandise carried with the manufacturer's warranty. For the purposes of the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), we act as the Personal Information Controller for the information described in this policy.

As an authorized retailer, we operate this Site ourselves and handle your enquiries directly. KINUJO Co., Ltd. (Japan) and the official KINUJO Philippines online store each publish their own separate privacy policies, which govern the information you provide to them.

2. Information We Collect

This Site does not contain order forms, user accounts, or payment functions. We therefore do not collect your name, address, payment card details, or similar information through this Site. The information we collect is limited to the following, which is gathered automatically when you visit:

Device and usage information — browser type, operating system, screen size, language setting, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
Browsing activity — the pages you view, the time and duration of your visit, the buttons you select, and the website or advertisement that referred you here.
Cookies and similar identifiers — small files and identifiers placed on your device by us and by our advertising partner, as described in Section 7.

If you choose to contact us through the links on this Site, you will be directed to Instagram, and any information you send there is handled under Instagram's own privacy policy in addition to ours.

Meta Platforms, Inc. — operator of Facebook and Instagram, which receives the measurement data described in Section 7 for advertising analytics and delivery.
Hosting and infrastructure providers — which process technical request data in order to serve this Site to you.
Government authorities and regulators — where disclosure is required by law, court order, or lawful request.

6. International Transfers

The service providers named above operate infrastructure outside the Philippines, including in the United States and the European Union. Where information is transferred abroad, we take reasonable steps to ensure that it continues to receive a level of protection consistent with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and the requirements of the National Privacy Commission.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

This Site uses the Meta Pixel, a measurement tool provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. The Meta Pixel places cookies on your device and reports to Meta when you view a page on this Site and when you select certain buttons, such as our enquiry links. These reports include the technical information described in Section 2 together with a record of the action taken. They do not include your name or contact details.

We use this information to count page views, to see which products and buttons attract interest, and to measure and improve our advertising. Meta also uses this information for its own purposes as an independent controller, as described in Meta's own privacy policy.

8. Your Choices and Opt-Out

Browser settings — you can block or delete cookies through your browser's privacy settings. Doing so will not prevent you from viewing this Site.
Advertising preferences — you can control how your activity is used for advertising in the ad settings of your Facebook and Instagram accounts.

Measurement data associated with our advertising is retained by Meta according to its own retention schedule and is available to us in aggregated form for a limited period. Enquiries you send us are retained for as long as necessary to respond to you and to support any resulting sale or warranty obligation, after which they are deleted or anonymised. We do not retain browsing data from this Site in identifiable form on our own systems.

This Site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We apply reasonable organisational, physical, and technical measures to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or loss. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Third-Party Links

This Site links to Instagram and may link to other external services. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those services, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing information to them.

13. Age Restriction

This Site is intended for persons aged eighteen (18) years and above. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. The effective date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised, and any change takes effect when it is posted here.

15. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, including the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.
